As Zoe and Mark prepared for our very first participation in a United Church Sunday Service, we were so lovingly guided by the caring hearts and hands of Rev. Dan Chambers and the wonderfully talented music Director Marsha Goold. As we saw the congregation members enter, we could see as well as feel their smiling faces and hearts shine a loving glow throughout the sanctuary.
We were there to share in the reflection of what Reverend Dan entitled “The Seeds of Reconciliation”. He spoke of the Truth of our connectedness and the Universal Love that surrounds and embodies us all, and Mark shared the stories about how his parents survived the holocaust via the caring courage and heroism of many, including a Catholic family, an African American soldier and even a Nazi SS officer – all of whom risked their own lives in order to save my parents’ and others’.
We spoke of the Grace of humanity – when we understand and Love our connections, see and feel our commonalities, and embrace our universal beauty. And we collectively felt that when we do so, there is Heaven on Earth.
Zoe and I sang and played some selections from Cantoria during the service … and we felt such loving support for universal peace as we shared the many smiles from the pews, and then again in the foyer as we spoke, shook hands, and shared hugs with the congregants. Thank you to all who shared your hugs, kind words, love and support, and to the many who took home the Cantoria CD. We wish you much peace and joy. Thank you for sharing yours with us!

Love and Blessings to all,
